Martin I like the orange one
Orange-100
it's attractive

That is perhaps not too surprising. :-)
Big fan of the color orange here =]! — Harry Gindi Dec 12 at 8:47
We will see what happens next - it seems a bit unclear to me what exactly is expected as a feedback for the possible improvements and customization of the MO design.

@DenisNardin Thanks for posting it. I hope it helps some of the users who prefer the old look.

@MartinSleziak No problem. However it might stop working if SE does changes at the official CSS, or it might become ugly if they, e.g., change the tag color etc.
We'll see what happens. In the meantime I'll keep using it and see what happens
The modifications are really minimal: just a few color changes. It's maddening that SE is not willing to even consider it, but whatever. In my opinion if they used something like it most people would not even have noticed the layout change

To be honest, I am not sure whether not willing to even consider it is a fair assessment. But from what Catija said here, it's probably not happening soon.
We'd like to try leaving the questions list page answer boxes (and the accepted answers) as they are for a little bit (a month or so) to see if your opinions change. Both of these elements are fixed on a network-wide basis (the box shapes/colors used to be per-site) so making them unique for y'all may introduce bugs when we update the sites, which is why we're trying to unify the themes - to avoid bugs and make it easier and faster to introduce features without necessitating a lot of bug fixes on per-site bases. — Catija ♦ Dec 10 at 5:01
My impression is that in general it is quite difficult to get some feature request implemented. Maybe at some point Tim Campion's answer could be posted as a separate feature request...? (Either her or on the main meta.)

Yeah I've seen it. I am a bit shocked that they decided to make those colors fixed on a network-wide basis when they are easily the most prominent element of the main page. Honestly, if we can keep them customized I don't care about any other customization. I'm even willing to live with underlined links

A natural question is whether this would be better posted as a separate feature request than an answer in this thread. But let us wait and see what more experienced Meta Stack Exchange users have to say about this. — Martin Dec 13 at 2:01
BTW this was the first time I've heard about Less (stylesheet language).
BTW I see that MathOverflow is mentioned here: Can we at least select our fonts?
BTW it seems that I overuse the acronym BTW. :-)

4:37 PM
Yeah, but I get that fonts are complicated from a styling perspective and I'm not too uncomfortable with the current ones. So I can get that. It's the pointless constraints that confuse me

On a completely different topic: "I've noticed some extremely un-hot mathematics questions pop up on the hot network questions list. Low number of upvotes, only one answer, etc. Even odder, there's always at least one MathOverflow question on the list, when I rarely recall ever seeing any before." From: Is there a new algorithm for hot network questions?
