The redirect has now been fixed, and all existing links to tea should now resolve correctly to the mathoverflow.tqft.net server. Thanks for pointing this out. — Scott Morrison ♦ 10 hours ago

So now it probably does not matter whether a post contains an old link or a new one.
As I have mentioned before, many comments contain links to tea - but now after clicking on the link users are redirected: data.stackexchange.com/meta.mathoverflow/query/556789/…
There are a few posts which still contain the old (tea) link - but in those post the links go to the main site anyway.

BTW the link in Where's the old meta? was not updated it still contains the old link http://tea.mathoverflow.net.

As I've mentioned above, there are two more posts where automated edit left the old link: What do moderators do? and Easy research-related questions, and closure reasons again.
In fact, SEDE returns a few more: data.stackexchange.com/meta.mathoverflow/query/920313/… - I am not sure why not all of those posts were displayed when searching on site: meta.mathoverflow.net/…
@ScottMorrison After the announcement on meta I have edited the tag-info on meta. Maybe you would like to edit it further , perhaps mentioning the redirect. (Now that the redirect is working, I suppose that this sentence is not exactly accurate: "Previously on tea.mathoverflow.net - this link is now defunct".)

BTW thanks for your work on preserving tea. (Although this goes without saying - and probably several of the upvotes on the announcement on meta were cast with the intention to express this.)
