Currently both meta questions shown in the community bulletin are by fedja: Should we exercise a bit more tolerance towards newcomers? and What's the point of having an MO chat without LaTeX enabled?

@fedja If you have a lok at conversations in this chat room, you can see that I have spent some time discussing specific problem with a specific user in chaty too, on several occasions.

The room is now called Modern Abstract Analysis, but the name was Functional Analysis when most of those conversations took place. (Quite recently the scope of that room has been expanded.)

Since you have specifically mentioned that you are not adverse to conversations in chat, I'll add this link: List of chatrooms.

You can see that apart from main chatroom, there are also several area-specific chatrooms on Mathematics.

Some of them have very low activity, some of them are visited more often.

Generally, there are more users there who ask questions than users who are able (and have time) to answer there.

So in case some of those topics is interesting for you, maybe you might have an occasional look at some of those rooms. Just in case you feel like spending some time in chat.)

If there is a question which remains unanswered and which seems - based on the tags you participate in - as a question close to your areas of expertise, would it be ok if I let you know about that question?

It would basically mean for you and occasional ping - and if you have time, you look at the question and decide whether or not you're willing look into the question closer.

As an addition to yesterday's discussion about migration, this seems to me as a sound advice:
