Every so often, while chatting to the other villagers, they will ask to come over to my place (or suggest I visit them).
Aside from sticky-beaking the decor, what can I do during these visits? Is there any interaction I can perform aside from talking to the villager?

I noticed while grinding on the Tropical Island that I went long bouts where all I would see was Fruit Beetles and Wharf Roach. I was ignoring them since they are only worth 200 and 100 bells each. While ignoring them not much else would show up until I activel...
Did some counting last night... I should definitely have the 50% badge for bugs, fish, and ocean stuff, but I haven't seen the NPC who gives them yet. =(
I noticed that most (if not all) of the time the Re-Tail store gives you more than the Nook baby establishment. Is there anything in the game that sells better at other stores? Or is it a general rule just sell everything you want to sell to the Re-Tail store?
I remember in Wild World, the gold shovel could plant money trees and was acquired by burying a normal shovel for a day. The other golden tools had special abilities too. In New Leaf, I have read that there are also silver tools. What do the silver/gold tools do and how can I get them?
I could stop buy and buy it and let you hold it (if it's been in your inventory once it goes into the catalog) and you can order it later when you have bells
One of my villagers gave me a task about giving him a furniture good for fitting snugly into small areas. I gave him corner items but he refused them. Anyone know some items that might match the task item request?

Can players that visit from other towns contribute to this count, or is it only for residents of the host's town? I know that visitors from other towns can have their fortunes told, but I am not sure if it counts toward...
