I try to keep my flowers all confined to one large patch to avoid running over them, but on occasion I trample them. So I received a special visitor today to my Happy Home Showcase. I know that you can order items from people who have homes in your HHS for a higher price, but it's not stated in-game, in the instruction booklet, on Nookipedia, or on the Animal Crossing Wikia exactly how much higher that price...

Bugs freeze when they notice you.

@FAE yeah that's what I've seen 100% of the time

at least beetles, many other bugs don't move at all until they run

You can see it with like mantises on flowers, for example. If they notice you, they'll freeze and put their wings in the air, tensing like they're ready to take off.

yeah mantises do it for sure. But I was talking specifically about beetles, since some bugs react differently. But ALL beetles do the same for me
