Woah, almost 75k unanswered?!! I remember questing against the dreaded 23k! We need more manpower, and crossbows. More crossbows is always a valid solution.

A: Convergent sequences

Robert CardonaSuppose $1\le p<q\le\infty.$ We will prove that $\ell^{p}\subseteq \ell^{q}$ by proving that $\|a\|_{q}\le\|a\|_{p}$ for any $a\in \ell^{p}.$ Define $b_n := \frac{a_n}{\|a\|_{p}}$ and observe that $\vert b_n \vert \leq 1$ for all $n \in \mathbb N$. Notice the following chain of equivalent statem...

A: Inclusion containing V and radicals

Robert CardonaSuppose $J \subseteq \sqrt I$. We want to show $V(I) \subseteq V(J)$. If you have the following result at your disposal: $\sqrt I = \cap \{\mathfrak p$ prime $ : I \subseteq \mathfrak p\}$, then your reasoning works: Let $\mathfrak p \in V(I)$, then $I \subseteq \mathfrak p$. But since $J \subs...

We should write a query to go through all posts, 6+ months with at least one answer but no votes. That way we can prune through those and see if the answers are good, upvote them, and remove them from the list.

@Lord_Farin These days I aim my crossbow for another target... A lot of 0-score answers are just "meh" answers to lousy questions, and should not be encouraged with an upvote. Plus there are tons of "meh" questions that don't have an answer and don't deserve one. We can stress out over them, or let them rot in obscurity.
@Behaviour The "meh" questions ought to be closed. The lousy questions ought to be improved so that someone wants to answer them, or otherwise, be closed. I agree that the focus should be the remainder of the questions and answers that do deserve our votes.

@Lord_Farin Closing an old unanswered question that nobody cares about anymore seems like a waste of effort. There is only so much time one can spend closing and reviewing closevotes; and during semesters the site gets 600-700 questions daily, many of which should be closed at sight.
@Behaviour It's probably the idealist and completionist in me that continues to strive towards likely unachievable goals.
The solution ought to be to get more crusaders, not to give up.
