@TARDISMaker lol. I'd probably switch the day adobe makes a linux version.
even though I do prefer drive letters...
@Scalia not sure, but expect you got to buy a new version from somewhere. then do a clean install.

@David meh. I looked. For some reason everyone want me to give them money for a better version

@Scalia yep that is the window$ way
did you read anywhere if you can use the same license key on your computer for a 64bit version?
(never got the link)

@David no that would be great tho

@Scalia This should be pretty obvious, but you can't upgrade to a 64 bit version if your hardware is physically only 32 bit.
lol
(But if your hardware can be 64, and windows has you stuck on 32 bit, by all means, upgrade!)

@VRM can you look at my medieval scene and give me some critiques in here? Thanks.
(anyone else is open to as well)
just ask if you want more pictures.

VRM
It's looking good. Materials I assume will be polished up a bit, that's the biggest issue right now

@VRM yah that is the next huge thing. I need to get my colors better, then start baking.
any advice on colors?

What does that dude we are supposed to be mimicking use? Pick one of his palettes

answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/… @David does this mean i can upgrade to windows 7 x64 for freedom?
@X-27 how do i find out what my hardware can do?
@David idk maybe a large cohesive theme that would make it stand out? like build the whole thing on a floating island or the back of a turtle. not either of those. too overused but you get the idea. Even if you have a really nice scene (the best) in sketchfab it can be difficult to get attention unless its unique in some other way than quality
@VRM also my pieces finished printing last week but i never got emailed. omw to get them rn

6:02 PM
@Scalia it kind of is a floating island. but just because I needed a way to terminate the boundaries.

hey @cegaton when you move an image to i.stack.imgur you do not need to keep the old link. It is an useless extra that adds nothing to the post, and will most likely go dead eventually. (example blender.stackexchange.com/posts/93038/revisions)
@Scalia thats neat. post a picture when you can.

10:00 PM
@David I leave the original because I've noticed that sometimes images get re-scaled.

10:16 PM
the sky must be falling. I posted an answer on SO! stackoverflow.com/a/46920874/3220986
@cegaton by imgur?

@David you what?
The sky isn't falling - your floating island is rising out of the sky!
