You can try to ping them in Chat here (use something like @JanScherders), if they talked recently, it will show up in their notifications. or post a comment telling them to meet you in chat and give a link.

in a comment, you just post a comment, as all comments on your own posts are automatically a notification

The op gets notified of all comments

Let me explain. The Original Poster refers to the person who made the post. There are however two types of posts, Questions, and Answers. If you comment on an answer posted by Joe Schmo, then he and anyone you pinged will get notified. The person who posted the question will not.

i now have tried several times to post a comment with @Joe but this @joe is not accepted (when my post is shown then the @joe has disappeared)

Keyframes are probably your best bet as a beginner
