@ParthaBanerjee Oh whr is he doing so? in comments or in the answer itself? I hv not read his answer to be frank :D
@ParthaBanerjee Btw good going with ur recent answers .. :)
Btw in one answer u quote Chaitanya Mahaprabhu saying " onyo devatder ninda koriyo na, etc" whr u hv translated "onyo" as "any" but it shd be "other" isn't it?
It the word used was "kono" thn "any" wd hv been right

5:20 AM
@Rickross yes it should be other, could be made any other. my answers and good going? Haha. my knwledge of the scriptures is laughable. i read the biographies and writings of thensaints all my life☺

@ParthaBanerjee Ok
@ParthaBanerjee Knowledge of scriptures is no knowledge .. as u pointed out correctly in that Meta answer
scriptures also say the same ..
@ParthaBanerjee Now the words ANTI HINDU are removed from the answer

5:57 AM
@Rickross thanks so much.

7:34 AM
@ParthaBanerjee No problem :)

@TheDestroyer determined ishta bynastrology is not accepted by our saints. our vedanga was astronomy. astrology probably came from greece. so what i have asked is NOT a duplicate question.

8:08 AM
@ParthaBanerjee Astrology came from Vedic seers like Parashara only
the saints did not give much importance to it probably because relying too much on it might make the person weak from inside and afraid of the events in advanced
In Hinduism the basic idea is everything is predetermined .. astrology basically says the same @ParthaBanerjee

8:30 AM
@Rickross yatha hyeken chakrena etc say both purushakaara and daiva are important. And the definition of Iswar isnkartum akartum anyathakartum samarthah.if everything is predetermined, no role is left for purashakara or Ishwara

9:25 AM
@ParthaBanerjee Yes it is difficult to determine whether is predetermined or not .. it's a philosophical debate
Btw do u knw any Bengali book by a Pundit called Raghunandan? His book is a digest of Smritis..and it is followed in Bengal @ParthaBanerjee

10:06 AM
@Rickross yes astavimdatitattwa by raghunandan yes a famous book and so is Durgotsavaviveka so far as i know

10:41 AM
@ParthaBanerjee Ok thx .. do u hv this book? Is this asta vimsati 18 books or one whole book with 18 sections?

3 hours later…

@ParthaBanerjee Jyotishya is Vedanga. It didn't come from Greek. I think Swami Vivekananda has this view.
Ok. Your new question is fine i think.

1:37 PM
@ParthaBanerjee Good going with the latest questions
Btw most Brahmins have dogs as pets I guess these days ..

1:54 PM
@Rickross Ha ha
@Rickross some go on asking meaningless questions! is it to earn points alone or lack of intelligence! firin and firing and firing blank:D
@TheDestroyer @Rickross again being mentioned as duplicate!! pl do the needful. hinduism.stackexchange.com/questions/32581/…

3:07 PM
@Rickross suchna wrong answer got so many upvotes !! hinduism.stackexchange.com/questions/15099/…
@Rickross and another one that mentions sai baba as ishta devata!!:D

3:24 PM
@Rickross sorry i missed your question. no, i did not read it. imwd like to, as my love Swamiji read it before doing Sri SrinDurga Puja at Belurmath.
@Rickross and Swamiji rightly pointed out that staying twelve years under mlechcha rule makes brahmins sudras. so there is no real brahmin in india.very strong logic
