Q: Let's Advertise with Community Ads!

HelmarNow that we're in Public Beta, it's time to start thinking of how to spread the word! Let's start this Beta off strong by creating our own ads. Forgive me as a I plagiarize a post from Internet of Things which was already plagiarized. So what are these "Community Ads?" Graduated sites allow the...

Helmar, are you a paid employee or financial partner of the IOTA Foundation?
No I'm not. I'm actually quite critical of the project. None the less your behavior on the site just doesn't meet SE quality standards of referencing sources or being objective.

Phew. I was just wondering. Then why are you not critical of references to future vapourware? Why are you deleting valid points of discussion? Why are you asking for references when no unbiased secondary or tertiary sources of information exist outside of official project propaganda released by an organization with an obvious financial interest?
It just seems to me that you are suppressing the very conversations that are needed to carry this project forward by sticking to strict rules of Q & A without realizing that there just cannot be such a thing with something like IOTA. If you are independent then why are you not more responsive to IOTA Foundation staff, paid advisers and official shills (Evangelist Network) of the company?
To me, based on your modding, it looks like you let pass stuff that is so very dubious as to be laughable and yet you apply rules arbitrarily to ensure that critique is suppressed. Why don't you just let people VOTE instead of deleting my post s or of others (well to be honest there are not many others)? So that is why I ask if you belong as a someone endorsing the project. I am very surprised that IOTA actually has a StackExchange when other projects have been refused for 'shilling'.
JINN, BUGS PLANTED ON PURPOSE, MASSIVE MISSED DEADLINES, LOST MONEYS FROM WALLETS, NETWORK PROBLEMS ALL THE TIME ... I could go on. Shouldn't these issues be front-and-centre to any discussions here? I think so. There is no way to be "OBJECTIVE" because they require discussion and exposure to be truly answered in a way that benefits people. So what gives? You came to mod this beta out of passion?
You are one of only a very few mods and your edits and deletions seem to be in the majority. It just looks to me like you work for the Iota Foundation.
This isn't a BETA software project. It isn't even ALPHA. So how can you apply objective standards. I don't think it is possible. The rules need to be relaxed or no engaging and useful conversation here will ever exist.
@Helmar Ooops. forgot the mention too. Another thing, why are questions of no effect boosted like "Why does the least significant trit come first?"? I mean, who really cares? I don't know a single software dev that would want that boosted over more valuable questions. Just something else to think about.

Oh right, and although "However, you must disclose your affiliation in your answers", I have never seen you question or insist that answers from the foundation and staff and advisers are changed. What use is that rule if you don't at least even attempt to enforce it?
