Q: SIMD Softmax implementation

EugeneI am learning SIMD and looking for feedback. This is column-wise Softmax for matrices stored in row-major format. Note that matrices come from outside so padding or dimensions being power of 2 can't be guaranteed, hence unaligned load/stores and such. I am using Google Highway and my tests pass o...

Even on Code Review, this would be off-topic as written, as 1) you're asking several questions in one; 2) you're asking open-ended opinion questions such as "most efficient" or validating some unknown set of "best practices". You can ask for a code review, but you need to be specific in your question. — David Makogon 2 mins ago

The first rule of debugging is to remove anything that is not related to the problem. Sorry, but StackOverflow is not a code review service, and we'll not go through the full comparison of both codes, especially considering that most of it is (at least apparently), not relevant to the problem. Please take your time to remove anything irrelevant to the issue until you get a proper minimal reproducible example. — musicamante 30 secs ago

Vlastimil BuriánThis is a completely refactored code of Makefile for a tiny C++ project based on all of the information in answers there, also comments, and a bit of my common sence. Huge thank you to all involved. I did my best, I worked really hard on it, read twice every comment, every bit of the answers, and...

@pacmaninbw Yeah, and unfortunately they changed the memory layout in this version, went from big-endian to little-endian.
@Mast This is the same manufacturer & model, they just changed IC's internally from 2->3, so some of the programs we have to migrate from the 2000-series don't work out-of-the-box on the 3000-series without some modifications. Nothing major, just an inconvenience.

Stack Overflow is for very specific questions. For general improvement suggestions consider Code Review instead. — Charles Duffy 13 secs ago

Q: Implementation of semantically safe interface for `std::future::then`

Sergey KolesnikDisclaimer: I am not a fan of the then concept, specifically as a mutating non-static member function. As of now, it has only been introduced as part of the experimental namespace in the C++ Standard Library. Issue 1: Lack of Implicit Executors in C++ C++ does not have implicit executors, which ...

Eduardo HerreraI have this problem and I code it. How can I improve it? Return the number (count) of vowels in the given string. We will consider a, e, i, o, u as vowels for this Kata (but not y). The input string will only consist of lower case letters and/or spaces. public class Vowels { public static int ...
