@chi I am investigating various ways to approach the cartesian product problem from another question of mine. A nested list would be preferable, for one, because it forces all branches to be of same depth. It is also related to the (not yet posed) question of making a type safe input of type-indexed vectors of variable length, as defined in other question here and on Code Review. — Ignat Insarov 44 secs ago

@Duga Ugh... Your call @SamOnela
It doesn't appear to explicitly invalidate, but it's an unwelcome move by OP nonetheless.
@Duga I understand why people make edits like that, but SE isn't built for it. Another dubious edit.

11:13 AM
@Mast When the OP edits with the message "review based on comments" I pretty much automatically rollback

@SimonForsberg Yes, normally I'd do the same, but in this case it merely appears to provide an explanation of why he went with a Stringbuilder anyway. The anders don't go against the advice.
It should've been a comment instead of an edit though.

@Mast There were code edits, not only "this is why I use StringBuilder"

@SimonForsberg Minor, and none appear to have been mentioned in the answers.
Don't get me wrong, I think we should ban pretty much any and every edit after the first answer arrives. But AFAIK that's not the consensus agreed on.
Last time I got 'overzealous' this happened.

We expect to be read-only less than an hour and in full maintenance mode only a few minutes. For more details, see our post on meta.stackexchange. @202_accepted Thank you for the confidence, but I'm too disconnected from the site now. I don't feel I could be a good moderator without a being reasonably active on both main and meta for a couple months prior to an election.

3:48 PM
For those with reopen-vote privileges, this question is causing confusion in the review queue: codereview.stackexchange.com/review/reopen/93346 It should remain closed (the added code is not the OP's code). So, go ahead and vote to remain closed ;-)

@rolfl Review completed.

Hmmm... OK, I see it has 3 reopen votes, but I guess it's hard to see what the state of the question is after I've reviewed it myself.

3 Leave Closed, 2 Reopen.
3 Reopen total.
We can always close it again if it's unrighteously reopened.
Anyway, if everyone suitable to run for moderator doesn't step up, you know what we'll end up with, right? Unsuitable people stepping up.

@Mast honestly I'm pretty sure that we won't have to worry about that

Same here. There will be enough suitable that any unsuitable won't get in.
And if it comes down to Trump vs. Clinton, I'm sure you, Vogel, and I will all be willing to step up regardless of our activity.
And probably skiwi, Heslacher, Phrancis, and others.

What's the story/concern with moderators, is an election coming up?

@rolfl Mug and 200 are stepping down.

My mom is moving my sister from MN to FL. I'm not so hot about my sister's life, but I'm intensely jealous about her going on the drive.
If I wasn't a programmer, I think I'd be a long-haul trucker.
On the other hand, it'll all end up OK. I make about twice what she makes, and I've got great benefits (including time off). Only issue is, I'm choosing to stick around home for now to spend as much time with my dog before she dies.
And hopefully she'll be able to get her college degree and increase her earning capacity.
