Guess what.
@RubberDuck LOL
I think it is TTGH
Word's spell-check (sounds like something that would be in HP, no?) thinks I should use "friend" instead of "fiend".

Q: File attachment validation from contact form

Johnny12I'm relatively new to PHP programming and working on the server side, and I have this HTML contact form allowing people to upload a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file with the intent of emailing this uploaded file (along with other information). I would like to know if there are any significant loopholes ...

Q: Two simple sorting algorithms in Python

VermillionFor a personal programming challenge, I wanted to try writing simple bubble sort and insertion sort functions in Python 3. I haven't looked at the standard pseudo-code, I just read about how they worked. Are these good implementations? def bubble_sort(array): """ Sorts array using a bub...

What?
I hate spell checkers
It makes sense, really.
"Friend" is a lot more common than "fiend" nowadays.
In fact, I almost never see "fiend" used in a text written within the last several years.

that is kind of sad

Ahem:
@Werrf: Considering that the aliens are giving the stuff to us as a payment of something means that they are handing it over to us in a form which is safe to transport. So that the containment/control is already covered. As for the usage, well ... all we have to do is to release extremely little amounts of the stuff in fusion chambers where it would annihilate with matter to produce very high temperatures which would be used to convert water into steam and rotate the giant rotors and generate electricity. — Youstay Igo 33 mins ago
What's the difference between destroying Earth a few atoms at a time versus all at once?

Q: How to generate a 1-dim array with explanatory arrows and text and large braces?

towiI am still learning tikz and often have to use complicated solutions where I am sure are more simple ones. From my lates tikz files I picked one to ask for tips what I can do better, to learn about features of tikz. The general layout should stay the same. Slight changes are fine. Suggestions s...

Oh, I see, maybe.
Basically, if we do it a little bit at a time, it won't eat all of Earth, and it won't blow what it doesn't eat up.
If we did it all at once, it would only eat the same amount, but the amount of energy released at a single time would blow the whole thing apart.

Q: Yet Another, Another Prime Generator

AnonymousYes, I realize there are many, many, many, many, many, prime generators on the Code Review SE. However, I have been unable to find any using this method for generating primes inside a vector, so I figure it should be covered. Here's the C++ code: long primeCap = 1e10; std::vector<int> primes; p...

@Mat'sMug Maybe we should rename the room to "Mat's Monitor" ^^
@EBrown Is there any way to get that graph without @duga and Captain Obvious?
lol, nope
@Kaz Considering Duga and Captain became more active in the last year, I'd say the results would be even worse.
maybe there'd be a better "incident" that dropped chat-participation though ...

@Vogel612 I'm just trying to find out if user activity dropped 60% (per the graph) or 95% (if the Captain/Duga are a large proportion of residual activity).

Q: Sentinel based find with conditional fallback to std::find

OlzhasI've got bored, so I decided to write a code using ancient knowledge of sentinels. Sentinel based find Basically what we do is put value that is needed to find at the end, and then write an endless loop. Breaking from loop happens in the body of it, so one branch (which probably won't make much...
