@Mat'sMug The upcoming days and weeks I expect you to curse on your implementation
maybe
If you have working code that you think could be improved, consider Code Review. If not, please clarify the issue and put the Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example in the question, not as an answer. — jonrsharpe 34 secs ago
but I'm only going to be using this, for now, for interfacing purchase orders between 2 legacy source systems and into this 3rd-party. so pretty much only inserts, and simple key equals value filters.
which work A1
That's how it starts.

@Mat'sMug Though I wrote this over the last days: github.com/skiwi2/OGamePlanner/blob/master/src/main/java/com/…

Q: Loop through List Multi threading using Java 5

RichieI am new to Multi-threrading. I have had a go at writing some code that loops through an ArrayList, gets a hostname and then pings the hostname. If the hostname is not pingable it adds the hostname to a list returned by the method. I am very new to multi threading so I was just wondering if some...

I believe it complained about a cyclomatic complexity of 36 at some point
@CaptainObvious Java 5?

Question about @Mat'sMug code coming in 5 years, by future coworker
lol

:p
it's there

I'm slowly going insane.

What is the meaning of aspect-oriented as a paradigm to a language?
(I see that said about a few languages like Python, Lua, Groovy)
codereview.stackexchange.com might be a better place for this question. — spickermann 18 secs ago
@Phrancis Changing functionality of methods without changing the methods itself pretty much
TTGTB though
OK, good night!

If the code works as intended (besides being inefficient) then this would be a good fit for Code Review. If you post it there please write a title that says something about what your code code. — Phrancis 1 min ago

Q: Something like a LINQ provider

Mat's MugOk, before you ask: yes, I need to do this. Sort of. I'm wrapping a 3rd-party API for data access, and I can't use an ORM, so I'm implementing this kind of thing: public interface IRepository<TEntity> where TEntity : class, new() { /// <summary> /// Projects all entities that match spec...

@CaptainObvious So. Much. Regex.
@CaptainObvious In hindsight I smell an XY problem.
That's odd ^^
The question has had a couple of revisions, that's probably why.
Sounds about right
This has many good answers:

Q: Readable regular expressions without losing their power?

hydeMany programmers know the joy of whipping up a quick regular expression, these days often with help of some web service, or more traditionally at interactive prompt, or perhaps writing a small script which has the regular expression under development, and a collection of test cases. In either cas...
