Q: Fast and precise summation of random numbers

user24714692I'm trying to first formulate this challenge. In short, we want to sum up an stream of random numbers with the following objective: The objective is "simply" to sum up as many sequences as possible as fast as possible and as accurately as possible. Problem Description. There is a sequence of floa...

If the test works and you're looking for whether it can be improved, you might want to try CodeReview.SE instead. Two observations. 1) That you have to call a private method is questionable. 2) Are there any arguments you expect BellNotify.create! to receive? — Schwern 59 secs ago

No it is not! Leetcode learns you how to solve puzzles and create algorithms (just a part of coding). You really have no idea how bad the programming style is you pickup on those sites. If you would do that kind of coding at work you will not pass any code review. — Pepijn Kramer 36 secs ago

Q: Our architect insists on add Assert() in .NET MAUI BindableProperty Get(), I'm confused?

ss1969Our company's architect has a strong preference for Assert. In a BindableProperty of .Net MAUI, he insists on adding an Assert, which makes me confused. My argument is that all official samples and built-in control sources handle it simply. Additionally, even if I forcefully assign an incompatibl...

This is almost more of a code review question. There are many choices you have made here that are not the best. Also, you have kind of just dumped your entire code and said "Help!", rather than ask a specific question. Basically, your problem is that you are printing while you are parsing, and you are using global variables where you should use lexical. You should (probably) parse first, using a separate subroutine, e.g. sub parse_npc { ..., saving the stats into a variable, e.g. my $orc = parse_npc("orc.txt");TLP 21 secs ago

Q: Efficient C Tokenizer/Lexer in C++

Egemen YalınI wanted to create my own compiler for C. Any thoughts on improvements? Note: Sorry I forgot to add comment lines in header files while I was coding code but I assure you code in header files is clear and easy to understand. Main.cpp Main code which has Lexer inside #include "Lists.h" #include "T...

"Is this how BFS is used in the industry or could you kindly help with feedback on how I can make my implementation or coding better?": this kind of question is off topic here. Asking for making implementations "better" is asking for a code review. If you are open to rewrite your post to follow the guidelines of Code Review, you could have better chances of a usefull answer over there. — trincot 8 secs ago

Also post a question in here and ask about convergence. Then, post a question in here and ask about improving the performance. — user24714692 44 secs ago

@Someprogrammerdude I am able to check if it is connected to a terminal, but I was advised to first "somehow" check if support for ANSI escape sequences is available before spouting garbage on the screen in a code review. — Harith 33 secs ago

@Phroggie I was just about to roll it back when you took care of it. Are you going to comment as well?

@pacmaninbw No, no point.

@jmoerdyk Ah I see. In my experience, code review does not help much with algorithm questions as the answers focus too much on style over solving the problem efficiently. — Unmitigated 43 secs ago
