asnwer = result if result else print("x<5") in your first example may not pass a code review. The problem is partly with the original code which doesn't set a value for asnwer in the False case. Here, its set to None. — tdelaney 36 secs ago

volnistiiIs it true, in terms of architecture I did? I'm not sure if I can use model access in section view. Note that there is Code Review for feedback about working code and Code Golf for coding challenges like minimal lines of code, minimal byte count, etc. Stack Overflow might not be the best site for this question. — wovano 42 secs ago

Q: I've coded a javascript snake game, but i'm not sure if i've used module pattern correctly

leo___I've wrapped everything inside a gamecontroller, so that everything is private, was this a good idea? that was my first time using oop and module pattern. also the code is in a good shape, or must be refactored? const scoreDiv = document.querySelector(".score"); const canvas = document.querySelec...

Q: Wielding .NET masterfully to encode non-alphanumeric characters into utf-8 hex representation

Greg HIt's show-off time. I have these two methods that work, but I also hate because they almost certainly can be improved. I'm hoping to gain some guidance from others who are more knowledgable of .NET's offering for encodings and byte manipulation. Given a string, any character that is not a-z, A-Z,...

Q: Electronic circuit logic gates simulator

LXSoftI've seen a lot of C++ simulators implementing logic gates, but absolutely all of them use the wrapped bitwise operations of the programming language itself. I have tried to omit the use of a bitwise operator and mimic what a transistor really does at its basic level until it reaches a really fun...

Q: Parallelise numerical integration with OpenMP in C++

CafféSospesoI would like to parallelise with OpenMP a one-dimensional integral using the integrate function implemented in the boost library. I found a rather obscure example (for my c++ skills) in the boost web site: https://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_56_0/libs/numeric/odeint/doc/html/boost_numeric_odeint/tu...

Q: Multi-step form in React + Formik

Alex KorI did a multi-step form. I only learn how to build applications, and would like you to check my code out, whether everything is done well, and so on. PropTypes checking was not implemented intentionally to make the code a bit cleaner. What would you recommend me to re-do or change up? The full-on...

Your question is overly broad, which makes it unsuited on Stackoverflow. Ik would suggest to either 1. split the question in multiple individual questions that each focus on a single part, where you reduce the code samples to the bare minimum to demonstrate the problem/question (an MRE), or 2. post the question to codereview.stackexchange.com instead, as it is more suited to get feedback on code. Because of this I'm voting to close this question. — Steven 42 secs ago

This is quite an advanced topic you scratch here. It's connected to theoretical computer science, complexity and the Big-O notation. Those keywords might be a starting point for further research. Apart of that, I think this question would be better suited for codereview.stackexchange.com. — Finomnis 39 secs ago

This is probably better situated at Code Review. However, as quick remarks: you are using a very old fashioned mode of encryption (OFB instead of, say, GCM). Furthermore, you are forgetting to include the IV into the HMAC operation. If you'd used GCM then that would be automatically performed. — Maarten Bodewes 57 secs ago
What is the problem? What does not work? If your code works and there is no issue, please consider posting it at Code Review, it is off-topic here. — Wiktor Stribiżew 42 secs ago

Q: Why is my rotating cube shrinking?

Maxell I have started a little project in C with the eventual goal to graph 3D functions, but first I just wanted to test out my idea with a simple cube. I just define a cube, scale it, rotate it and project it to a 2D plane. It works fine but I am guessing because of float inaccuracy my cube is constan...

Q: Find maximum value of array chunks minima (Javascript)

rschpdrI just did a HackerRank challenge, but my code kept failing 3 tests, with a timeout error. These tests were probably passing very large arrays as arguments (constraints said the arrays could have as many as 109 elements). I researched some performance bottlenecks in my code (Array.slice, Math.min...
