Here are the ones he gave me for chapter 1, since that's where I'm right now: Chapter 1: 5, 6 (important), 7, 9, 12 [(v), (vi) important … do not do a fresh proof from scratch — use what you know], 13 (cool, if you didn’t realize this), 15, 17, 19 [somewhat tedious but important for future work], 20-23 [this sets you up for Chapter 5, if you’re so inclined].
