anyway, FATE is pretty nice. there's a wealth of things you can do with it. but I also sometimes miss systems that have slightly crunchier mechanics myself

granted, I was never a spreadsheet raider either... That was too efficient and a more boring way to play. I would crunch the numbers by hand :)
but i did take the time to research the "Best" way to play, then fit it to my liking/playstyle.

I was DPR for a while
and I never maxed it
but that's because I prefer to do other things
like sink people into burning sand that damages them and takes them out of the fight for a while
Warlock in 4E was fun
