they are absolutely a.m.a.z.i.n.g. (imo atleast)

they aren't the heavy edm type. They have this soft tune about them that's really nice..

@Qwid Well some of us academics have the same 6 or 7 day week, but I still celebrate Fridays (I mean, while I still work on Saturdays, I've never had a Saturday class, or committee meetings on Saturday.)

For me, all 7 days of the week have the exact same routine. So I actually just need a clock that tells me what day is it.

@Qwid not quite. Hard court is concrete or something similar often with some coating. Also on a clay court there is usually sand.

Australian open, US open are hard court, Franch open is clay.

A less snarky answer: any random person who led a happy and fulfilling life. I have no real interest in fame or legacy (beyond, I suppose, some familial legacy).

@Arjun really? Sure he was a genius. But he died very young and did not really have a happy life it seems to me.

I suspect that wishing to be anyone else than who we are is bound to lead to unhappiness. Just because wishing we weren't who we are already indicates unhappiness. Sorry for posing the question.

Obama didn't cure racism, and I doubt that a woman in the oval office will have much of an effect on sexism. :\

And I agree with your, in the broad scheme of things, but I think the willingness of the American public to elect a woman as president, provided she's qualified, might be a good litmus test of progress wrt respect for women's capacities. Many many other nations have gotten past the gendered ceiling, in this respect.

If I could choose to be born into an academic track at some time between 1725 and 1775, that would neat. It must have been incredible to converse or correspond with folk like Euler and Gauss.
