@ellisaba now that you ask, I think it was a bug. I had it instantly, and was a bit confused why myself, but somehow I did not see it in the list and thought it was a secret hat I might have gotten for some actions I had taken that day. Actually it says now that I have no hats. Thus I think it'll go away soon.
