I'm quite embarrassed to say that I've let my room freeze yet again, after you unlocked it on my request.

I was actually under the impression that it will stay unlocked for two weeks at a time without activity, but clearly I was mistaken

@Brahadeesh It is true that the room will stay for 14 days (7 days for room with few messages) without activity.
But unfreezing doesn't count as activity for this counter.
So you could have simply posted some message right after unfreezing to keep it open for the next 14 days.
Anyway, all you need is to find some moderator who will unfreeze the room for you. (As you did the previous time, I assume.)
This feature request is somewhat related: Don't freeze a chatroom soon after a mod has unfrozen it.

@MartinSleziak Yes, but I went ahead and created a new room now. The contents of the previous room are not vital. (In any case, I feel pretty silly having to ask for the room to be unfrozen so often, so I think it's better this way.) :P

In fact, if you are owner of the frozen room and you want to have some of the messages in the new room, you should be able to move the messages from the old room to the new one.

I hope I remember correctly that it is possible to move message also from the frozen room.
One problem which might be caused if you do something like that is if you linked to some messages in the original room somewhere.
