@quid That's preteen behavior, you silly quid. It smells like a rant and attack on any and all dissenting opinions. To my understanding of the best interest of the MSE site, you are are a co-conspirator hiding behind a straw-man argument.
I'll keep that as a souvenir of my mod-adventures. :-)
@quid OMG! Souvenir it shall be! :)
@amWhy it's not a completely real comment though.
@quid I just read the about the copy and paste. Now I'm curious who wrote them (though I have some reasoned guesses).
It's a bit confusing as it's not clear if it's one user.
Also the resolution for the pasting is not exactly clear.
I mean one could paste silly from. "Thank you for catching my silly errror."

That is true, @quid.

Sorry, @quid, if I merely added noise to the mod chat about a user's deleted account. I was simply annoyed yesterday when they posted a question as to why their "joke" answer was deleted. But I know this goes back much further. I remember that much.
I think it's fine @amWhy
Does Saturday, the 13th have any significance? I mean, we missed Friday, the 13th, by a day. So maybe it means nothing.
Hmm. No clue. Maybe it means we got lucky.
I wonder how wide-spread this Friday 13th tradition is and where it comes from. Likely the internet could tell me.
@quid Poor number 13. A prime number at that. But so much maligned and so much bias against it. Time for diversity among all numbers! Yay, 13!!
@quid True... It appears "fear of the number 13" even has a name: "triskaidekaphobia"
@amWhy I am just reading up on it. Apparently in Greece its Tuesday that is considered "unlucky"
And in Italy it's Friday the 17th.

In Wikipedia, there is also reference to the 13 who gathered at the Last Supper, on Thursday, prior to Good Friday, but that might be a stretch.
Also, most initial hits on the internet took me to the movie/novel "Friday the 13th".
But... with respect to the Last Supper, no historical reference to Friday and 13 in that connection until the 1800's.
Yes, it's curious.
But it is interesting at the cultural differences. Not necessarily the same day of the week, and not necessarily the same day of the month. But darn it all, 13 and 17 are both prime numbers! Celebrate diversity in numbers and in days of the week! :-)
We dipped down below freezing last night, in Wisconsin. Burrrrrr. Still not used to those colder temps. Frost pretty much destroyed whatever was left growing outside. Crazy October. On Wednesday I had to run the air conditioner!!

@amWhy around here it was almost a return of summer.
Like 80 degrees.
I was not overly please about this as I had to drag around some heavy item.
@quid We hit close to that on Tuesday, Wednesday this week, but this month has been full of extreme weather.
@quid Pretty warm, I bet, and "sticky"? (Humid?). For us it was "sticky-warm earlier this week"; humid, so uncomfortable! Then rain then the sudden drop in temp. I'm going to have to have my furnace serviced before the dead of winter hits us.

@amWhy I hope it stays that week until next weekend. Then I'll spend a day outside and I hope not to freeze.
