I haven't been ablw to find the actual post that caused this.
Or title.
Seems completely ridiculous. That site often has sufficiently interesting responses that I actually clicked it, despite not being interested in participating.
Ah I now see that information is available in an answer to the second question.

One theme I'm noticed in many negative responses is how quickly SE acted on a twitter post from a non-member, while many, many SE memebers/users have been asking for change wrt HNQ for a very long long time. I tend to empathize with this aspect. I'm not terribly happy with how HNQ's are selected on math.se, and users from other sites have expressed similar grumblings. I hope all the "promises" to re-examine the entirety of the HNQ algorithms etc is sincere, not because of the recent fiasco
with IPS, but because I don't think HNQs, or how they're selected independently from site input, has been working for some time.

That includes happy Friday, @quid!
Hello @amWhy
I hope the week is ending well, or at least, not "chaotically", @quid!
Yes it's fine. Thanks. How are you?
@quid Not too bad... I need a new furnace, though :( That'll be happening in the next week or two. Can't wait much longer than that!

@amWhy indeed, better get prepared before winter is coming.
@quid Yup... I'm pushing for this coming week. I have a warranty on my furnace, which should cover its replacement, but I intend to ensure the replacement lasts more than two years!
