Recently I started to do project as independent developer (though I have 10 years of experience in mid sized companies) and have been doing small projects mainly in the farming industry, helping them to digitalize some of there management / selling related work.

Most of the time they were using excel sheets to do few different stuff but it is quite limited in my opinion and hard to centralize the data this way.

As they don't have much money I try to find very quick and cheap way to provide them customized software.
