Some, as we've seen before, stand up to take a stance, and as soon as the senior mod argues with them, or acts otherwise, they seem to cower and walk away, and behave like the "senior mod", carrying out the senior mod's agenda. Right, @XAnder?
That senior mod, who I shall not name, opposes users in CURED, and its goals, and we seen them work recently that demonstrates that. And as soon as that mod speaks or acts, other mods back down. That's a dysfunction team, if I've ever seen one. As disfunctional as the US Senate and House and pres in the last term.
Probably some sort of hazing thing, hey Xander? I no there is no point in asking, because thus far, you've learned to "fall in line" and back each other no matter how outrageous, biased, and abusive another might be. Tow the line is all of mods mantra, which they must abide by, to belong and have other mods' previously hazed, respect you.
@Peter the OP of the second and third question is a prolific psq questioner.
I am not asking for action of any sort, but merely pointing out that their track record is poor
@TeresaLisbon Hi! Is amWhy joking about the whole mod story?
I'm going to move some of my above comments, which are all true, and legitimate observations to trash, lest senior mod insists on suspending me from chat, which they've done before, when I've challenged the status quo some mods are entirely invested in maintaining, like from 2011/2012.

@vitamind I am not aware of the details, and I risk a suspension if I make remarks that are about the moderators. In particular, just to be safe, I'm unfortunately going to ask you to remove that comment. I'm sorry about this, but it is partly correct in so far as recent activity is concerned (Once you see this, type YES and then I'll delete it).
@TeresaLisbon Please also delete my comment, I can't do it anymore.

Can you believe that? 8y member with nearly 100k rep writing this:"Yes, because if I was in that position I would possibly have to answer some comment from the OP later"
@vitamind I'm going to have to ask you to be a little careful. I'm sorry, but I am trying to find the background of the user and why they are thinking that way. I told you last time as well, I realized that instead of calling them out , maybe sometimes we have to see why they think that way. And I know I'm full of contradictions, I really am a bundle of them, but I will tell you later why I think the user made this comment.
@amWhy @vitamind I have an answer to that now : the user is just very dismayed at the fact that people who are closing and downvoting the question, are not leaving comments, and if they are leaving any, they are rude and unruly. It gives them the impression of a dictatorship, and hooliganism on the site. These words are mine, but I am giving the vent to their feelings.

@TeresaLisbon Probably not a good idea to reveal what a user says, and your perspective and interpretation, or you're going to reinforce the users perspective that everyone is talking about them. They revealed a fact on CURED that may explain a bit of an over-reaction to a deletion. But aside from that, if you interacted with every PSQ asker and every PSQ answerer for an hour or more, each, twenty times as many of each will be repeating the same ole' same ole. And this user is without question,
@amWhy Sure. I will discuss, in a more objective fashion later, what this user has communicated with me. You can move the above comments to the trash, and thank you for the gentle reminder.
in earshot of the chronic abusers, who have their own circle of doing exactly what they claim we do in CURED. I love your eagerness to help, and in this case, I can understand, given their their self-disclosure. But just as thousands of Trump users, some users wanna believe what isn't true, particularly under the spell of a leader/leaders who lie.
However, I sense about this particular user a dismay, a real despair at certain actions. This is not a user who is run-of-the-mill, in my opinion.
@TeresaLisbon I sincerely apologize. My intention was not to call the user out and I hope I did nothing like this. I was perplexed by the comment "Yes, because if I was in that position I would possibly have to answer some comment from the OP later", (meant negatively) which could be translated to - "I don't want to be bothered by comments from the OP and try to help them."
The problem is that it was apparently not the first time and also coming from certain other users, who also have high rep or high influence in here. I really don't want to cause any drama I was just incredibly perplexed and wanted to express it somewhere and look for agreement or disagreement. I hope you can understand that I had no ill intent in mind.
@TeresaLisbon I agree. They are taking deletions personally, and came here first with nothing to conclude except that CURED, or the people there, are ruthless. Like I said, I really appreciate your efforts. My main point in my second to last comment above, is we need to resist publicly assessing a user you've spoken to in confidence (I'm sure that's what he believes, as you seemed to have gained their trust/comfort), because if such a user reads others assessments of them, they will further feel
betrayed, and want to have nothing to do with us ever again.
@vitamind You've done nothing wrong. And you did not link or name names.. I hope we can eventually remove this entire conversation;, your comment was not the problem, the potentially most dangerous comments are in the subsequent follow up. Please, @TeresaLisbon: Remember every chat room
is public, and users can access a chat's transcript without even entering a chat. I understand you are trying to mediate between "sides", but doing so can make it difficult for each side to trust what you will say to the other. I so not seem this case as opposing sides, but the user you are speaking with does, and therein lies the danger in hurting them further, by talking to us behind their back (as they could potentially come to know.)

@amWhy I invite you to take a look at the comments here. Once again, I made an error generalizing the user's feelings. I really did. But some of the things they said, it hit me hard. I had to introspect a lot. @vitamind Hey, you did absolutely nothing wrong. I was just asking you to be a little careful, then I myself was not. Life of contradictions.
Let me know, if and/or when, @vitamind, and @TeresaLisbon, I have your permission to move comments. I will, however, in either case, trash mine. I will look, but your are betraying them once again, by asking for me publicly, to review the conversation. I will do so
You have permission to remove all my comments. You may access my chat as well. I have spoken nothing to the user about CURED. I have chosen to maintain a background of what the user's sentiments are, and how we can rectify them. If there are any chats there that you find offensive, let me know.
@amWhy You have permission to remove all my comments too :).
But please, please be careful. No, I have no problem with your chats with the user, but I am cautioning you of sharing what he probably thinks is a private conversation, to other users, unless he has given his explicit permission to do so. He came to CURED paranoid. I worry about his reaction were he to learn you've been sharing what he said publicly, particularly with CURED users. I'm not angry with you, just hoping to retain the progress you've made, without it blowing up.

@amWhy I think I see the error of my ways. My idea of keeping the chat there, was to provide visitors with a second opinion, a different school of thought. It is to make people think, introspect, look into themselves, and feel enriched. I now realize that such a conversation may also be a platform for people to make rude comments on the users involved, if they are in disagreement, and also lead to loss of identity privacy regarding opinions. Thank you very much.
I shall move these to a different room.
18:58
@TeresaLisbon Moving to your room was fine; the user went their eagerly. I was only concerned that sharing what they said elsewhere, if you were to discover it, might hurt them deeply. No need to move comments from your room. I doubt people would come to your room to be mean. I was worried mostly that speaking to me and another user (both of us active in CURED) about his situation, if he were to learn, could undermine everything you accomplished, if he felt betrayed by you. I admire your
willingness to speak, and allow him time to process. That was not at all a problem!
@amWhy I felt like this user was , beneath the surface, a user with a point and one who was willing to listen. Some of the conversation we had was truly delightful. I'm glad to say, everyday on MSE and interacting with different users is giving me all kinds of interesting emotions about various things in life. I just felt overwhelmed today. I don't cry very often, but this user said some things that made me.
@TeresaLisbon I totally understand. I get that way too. I'm very sensitive to others' feelings and if we can get below stubbornness and obstinate behavior (which I never would have described the user you refer to...) it can be amazing. In any case, I'm glad you two were able to connect.
My comments to in the Cafe were addressed to comments in that chatroom, because many Cured regulars go there, and many know I own that room, and because I own it, they see it as an "informal CURED". That's why I worried about comments their posing a risk if the user to check it out, that he would worry about you having talked about your discussion with ME, are elsewhere. I have no problems in your talking with him; only I worried if he were to see you were talking to others about him.
We can talk on our own time! ;D Thanks again!
@amWhy Thanks for sympathising. We will talk about this some time!
@TeresaLisbon Later! ;D It's getting close to sleepy time for you! Make sure to get enough rest ;D

@amWhy Not today : the PSQ crawl is still left!
