@Otaku I stopped playing on PC years ago because I got feed up with the constant need to chase tech issues, driver incompatibilities and so on.
I think the breaking point was NVida "sli" tech - pure trash that never worked for me on anything but the one game that was included with the graphic card (Stalker).
It made Oblivion crash... and everything else too.
And the few minutes you would get it running before the crash... you would get visual artifacts.
Was NOT a busted card... their tech demo worked... so it was just poor / non existing game support.
Now I only play on console.
Do I miss-out on PC only games? Yes I do.
Do I get inferior performances? Yes I do
Do I lose 99% of the modding potential on some games? Yes I do.
And all of this annoys me.
But still... nothing beats inserting the disk and... it just works.
No driver, no windows updates, no random idiocy.
All works out of the box without me having to go crazy or discovering AFTER I bought the game that my video card is not supported.
and since I rewatched that series recently, there is one simple way to describe the felling of knowing it will "Just Work".
