We had a ton of people participate in Winter Bash this year with 266,000 hats awarded throughout the network. Thank you, everyone! We couldn’t have done it without you.
@Derpy then I'll skip, thanks. Just like Grave of the Fireflies. I've heard enough that I won't watch these. I don't go out of my way for a heartbreak.
@Derpy for once, yes :D
the original anime, to be precise
only watched a few episodes of Brotherhood, and never seen any manga
I won't ask what you mean, just point out that the poor thing basically looks like your average D&D wall of flesh. more like the bogleech.
And if you really are that curious, the anime is available legally on many platforms, and in some cases even for free.
Just know that it is a whole different kind of sad when compared to things like Grave or even the "dastardly" Tokyo Magnitude 8 (dastardly because it punches you in the stomach right at the end after you though "oh, nice, happy ending")
In this case it is more of a "rage sadness", meaning you probably would want to take the responsible for some events and toss them into the lowest layers of the "Abyss" that gives the name to the show.
If you like something more melancholic but cozy in a strange way, The Girl From The Other Side is probably a better choice
