@Derpy dunno, I'm active only in Tavern, and it always had "waves" of activity, never very active for long time without some break. No stats about any other room, but maybe SOCVR is better indication, you can ask @rene I guess. :)
@Derpy no, they use it for their own internal chat (Teacher's Lounge for mods and dev only rooms on MSE, pretty surely) so chat won't go away any time soon.
All in all, since chats are moderated pretty good (I think, as nobody is complaining ;)), they don't have a reason to drop them.
