I will probably reset the title in a few days.

You might know Chris better as “Grace Note,” the moderator extraordinaire on our Gaming Stack Exchange.

I appointed Chris to a pro tem moderator position nearly a year ago. I wasn’t an avid user of Gaming SE, but I was continually amazed how often Chris’s name kept popping up in our moderator chat room. Chris was quickly becoming The Person to quote when you needed a clear, compelling explanation of how this community-management stuff should work. Grace could be a beacon of light in this dark time... but meh. Can't expect people to step up and put themselves in the cross fire for no good reason, plus maybe SE staff can't do such things on their own.

umm... that's just silly because Grace never even told their preferred pronoun. So that's just a way to get flag banned?

You can't misgender someone who never told the pronoun they (?) want to be used.

@Shadow depends. If you get a mod that is clueless about who Grace is, and then you manage to find an message that made the same joke - using both pronouns in the same message - the mod may actually fall for it.
Not that I am very worried of that happening but... you know... just in case
