@Undo Soooo... I kinda really liked writing this tags thing, so I've put another hour or 2 in. Mind testing it out for me again?

@thesecretmaster found one

5:50 PM
Defocusing and refocusing the box mysteriously deletes the last tag each time

Fiiine

I don't even like that setting

You probably don't care about this, but toggling the delete button option doesn't update existing tags
not really an expected use case
What's override_tab supposed to do?

5:54 PM
@Undo I literally mentioned it in that text block at the top

reading is for silly people

@Undo When you tab to the end of the autocomplete list, it won't keep going, and shift+tab will let you go backwards
Up/down/left/right/tab/enter/escape are all keys which will make things happen.

ah, okay. That makes sense

I left the tab_override as a setting because accessibility

Slightly weird:
Mashing space in the middle of an existing tag pushes its neighbors around strangely

But... yeah, I'm digging pretty deep to find this stuff. Well done.

Thanks
It's a fun project. You prolly don't have time, but a code review would be welcome as well. It's pretty neat.
(neat as in well-organized AND neat as in cool)

@thesecretmaster You probably wouldn't want a CR from me on JS anyway. I know enough to make stuff work, that's about it

6:08 PM
@Undo Maybe Art has time, but for some reason I doubt it.
OH WAIT
This could be used for domain tags

Clever way to get a review ;)

Not just a review -- extensive testing :P

You really want JF, actually. He's the JS expert

I kinda assume > expertise == < time, but maybe I'll ask
And it really could be used for domain tags

6:20 PM
Yeah, it'd be great there

@Undo Did you find anything else? I can't really fix that spacing bug, it's beyond my knowledge. Basically I found some magic code on SO that sticks the text in a canvas and a canvas can measure text size because reasons.
And they say quality is going down :P

7:05 PM
Huh, how can I package this up for usage with webpack...

7:22 PM
@thesecretmaster Wasn't able to find anything else in the two minutes I spent after that find
Pretty nice

Any idea how to package js so it gets integrated into our application.js pack?

Nope, sorry :( I never really figured out the webpack thing

Would that be a JF question or an Art question?

Probably JF

7:38 PM
I asked. I'll see what happens.

8:15 PM
?

possible XSS testing
it doesn't work
