@MMavipc when I move the collabreate plw for ida50 into the plugins folder, it gives an error on start, if I use the plw for ida50_fw, IDA starts up and says that this isn't an IDA dll file

It's a red/yellow/green circle

In your case, it should be green

and hovering over it should give the caption "READY"

@heinrich5991 after doing so, go to edit -> plugins -> collabreate and enter the IP, then your username & password. After that, select the project SRB2

Shift+F12 to open strings window

Alt+T to search for text, Ctrl+T to find next

searching for ring I found setrings

which is a console command in the game

doing an xref on that brings me to _cv_setrings

last field of that struct is a pointer to the _Setrings_OnChange function
