I got a question regarding IDA. I created a struct similar to
struct { char a; int b; }
now IDA automatically inserts a padding between a and b, which is not what I want
is there something one can do against that automatic padding?

@heinrich5991 IDA only inserts padding if you change the size of an already existing variable
