@Trish What do you mean exactly with "4 wire connection slot from a MOSFET" from 3dprinting.stackexchange.com/a/7623/5740? Shouldn't this be "4 wire connection slot for a stepper" What has the 4 wire connection of a stepper to do with a MOSFET? Please explain.

@Trish I've a basic electronics background, please enlighten me. Do you mean that the stepper driver chip is the MOSFET? I understand that this chip drives/schedules the phases of the steppers, I just never associated that with being a MOSFET, nor have I ever seen anybody doing that. For that reason it was unclear to me. Might be for other too :)

I mean, that thing under the cooler... the current flows through it to the exit.

(Or do I mixed up my parts?)

@Trish Yup, the MOSFET's schedule the voltage to the heating cartridge and the heat bed, the stepper driver chips schedule the volage/current to the stepper phases.

Well I've been fighting the spam war for years now with my facebook groups.

Ban first ask questions later. I've never had anyone challenge a ban out of hundreds

Sadly here we do not have the tools like facebook. I stop 4/5 spammers from even joining with a questionnaire, and applicant screening. IE I'll decline anyone that has a new account, didn't answer the questions / invalid answers. Funny enough, some people will say answer my question "are you here to sell us stuff" with a yes on their applications

It's different here of course where someone has an account with a history, but if it's an empty shell I'd say ban and forget.

I will note that I've seen some mods in other parts of the internet ban for things they don't agree with or because someone is a jerk, which is not what I am saying. This attitude is for clear spam.

I did ban one person once for posting... ... ... erotic STLs. He had a warning, but after he posted that "tank" file. Nope.
