I think most people are happy with our moderators, myself included. I wouldn't mind seeing a new face though. @RoflcoptrException: what are you waiting for?
@Dirty-flow: Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I'm not sure I will this time. I'd rather pester the current mods than do this myself. I think there's no shortage of suitable people to do the job.
exactly my point. We managed to avoid serious conflicts although not for the lack of such situations, and with enough engaged high-rep users, it doesn't matter all that much who mods are
@RoflcoptrException Noooo, I don't speak German. But I'd love to learn!
Yes you guys. I'm running for mod in these elections, but I'd love to see more members of the community running, that's what makes the StackExchange system so good - when we have community participation.
@Andra @Dirty-flow I'm thinking about it and I would really like to do the job. On the other hand, there's nothing to complain about the current mods, so I don't see any reason why I should nominate myself :)
@Dirty-flow If moderators shouldn't be visible, that what is the sense in an election
I am perfectly fine with the current situation. But when there suddenly is this voting mechanism, we should question the capabilities of the moderators
@Dirty-flow If moderators shouldn't be visible, then what is the sense of an election
