In physics, we have a list of "open problems". These generally are things like something we can model but the math suggests something different. As an example, I measure a dependence for transport on temperature to be 3/2 but the math says it's 5/2. Anyway, is there an open problems list for cryptography? I have a former student in EE who's now in maths. I couldn't point him toward any cryptographic problems. Maybe there isn't a thing.
