CyberChef must be the first onine tool that manages to mess up the second block of ciphertext once your IV is larger than the block size. How the f*** do they even manage that?

@Restioson well, that's not what you asked. In that case it's probably fine.

I was working on a routine cryptographic project with a friend of mine--who is still in Wuhan--when I had to leave the country because of a family issue. There are twenty-five Botswanan citizens trapped in Wuhan right now, and my friend is one of them. The situation there is clearly getting worse. If anyone on this excellent website wants to get involved, then please do.
I have been trying to put a little bit of extra pressure on the Botswanan government. I have talked with their foreign minister, who politely listened to the bad news I relayed to her from Wuhan.
Botswanan Ministry of Foreign Affairs > +267 71 387 251
His name is Estomichi-Dominus Kyatwa. His WeChat ID is: estokyt
His phone number is +8613297097323
Thank you.
Edit: ... who politely listened to the bad news from Wuhan that I relayed to her.

@SEJPM it's for data integrity storage
so the worse that happens is some change erroneously is not pulled from another node and that gets corrected later
collisions would be BAD, but not fatal or anything. it'd jjust be a little annoying for the users suddenly having their room state be updated next message

Totally stupid python and it's pip(3). Installed PBKDF2 but doesn't see it.

For the math-oriented: what's the proper name of the group in my recent answer?

@fgrieu there is a workaround to use the hash hammer, add the hash tag, duplicate, remove the hash tag. Ok. that is fun here.
For the DH DH DH DH question
@kelalaka : good to know!
