@SSimon The example you showed in the video would actually be a woman making an inappropriate statement that objectifies women. When she says "going down" that implies something sexual. I do agree with your example. This does objectify women.
The man in the article didn't have anything explicitly sexual added to it.
The joke is supposed to be that elevator operators don't exist anymore. It's something an old person would only know.
