@KK2491: any update with respect to that equation?
01:58
@Toros91 @Sam Good morning ..
let me get the equation ..
Good Morning
those are the gradient descent formulas .. I am confused about dZ[1] formula..
02:14
there are implementations for?
what is your doubt in that?
02:40
dZ1 = np.dot(W2.T,dZ2) * (1-np.power(A1,2))
How this was deduced from the equation of dZ[1], (second part) .?

Q: Proper derivation of dz[1] expression for backpropagation algorithm

kevinFor backpropagation algorithm, is it true to have weight, $w$ transposed in the expression of $dz^{[1]} = w^{[2]T}dz^{[2]} * g^{[1]'}(z^{[1]}) $ ? Could anyone show me why $w^{[2]T}$ instead of just $w$ ? I have read other articles, but the transposed dimension of $w$ is ignored when chain deriv...

this would help you
see if you don't understand let me know

yeah... Thanks man .. I will have a look.. .
meanwhile will send one more problem statement related to NLP ..
04:59
yeah sure
will give my insights

I've sent you the documents with comments

Morning
Morning man
how are you?
Sam
Sam
Yeh not too bad thank you. Just working on my version control system :)
How are you?
I'm good too. trying to perform hypothesis testing
Sam
Sam
Yeh? Nice
Started using Python yesterday :)
I have data of firms which are our client and want to check if they are really helping them in improving their performance .
how you feel after using Python?

Umm yeh I like it. Although I'm still trying to understand how to structure my stuff.. I've got some code which I think should be in a module but not sure
Basically, before I run anything, I need to check that the current branch has a dedicated static directory on my server where I plan on saving any data that needs to persist which is too large or not suitable for Git

1 hour later…
09:11
hmm
nice
I've checked your code
nice
Sam
Sam
Would this be put in a module on just executed as a single function from some execution script would you say?
I guess I'd need to have an init file for that Git module right?
yes
you need to have it
and I don't use GIT that much
Sam
Sam
Use a different vc do you ?
I don't use any VC, I use my system and hard drive to save everything in folders
Sam
Sam
Ah man what if you want to revert back from something?
09:21
it happened
one of the worst thing
Sam
Sam
That's why you should use vc :P
I've fallen victim many of time :/
hmm but currently I'm using that as I'm the only one who is doing the work
would be starting very early
Sam
Sam
I'm currently in the process of trying to get our team to use Git
Easier to see who's done what, and who's mucked what up as well
very nice
it is a good thing
