HOW to guess the size difference between two compounds?Is there any general way to guess ??

E.g What'll be bigger NO3- or Cl- ?Ik Cl- is bigger but still is there any general way that can be applied to most cases

A big reason why nitrates are mostly very soluble in water

As for guessing size, u wanna guess size with or widout hydration?
