I'm currently updating our Java library‌. Did I understand correctly that stackexchange.com is still using the old login-flow and will get the same /users/login page as SO, AU, etc.?
My update is working with this one. If that's the login that will be rolled out to all sites, tunaki/chatexchange is fixed.

This Github issue has news: github.com/SOBotics/SwiftChatSE/issues/8 (from @FelixSFD I see...)
@FelixSFD So AskUbuntu is already using the new flow? Then it should be possible to use AU to login, and then chat.stackexchange to post stuff, right?
17:46
@SimonForsberg not sure, if this could work. I don't think we can use the cookies from AU on an other site, since the user might not have an account on both sites. But I'll test it
18:18
@FelixSFD I don't understand exactly what cookies is it we want to use? For what?
18:47
@SimonForsberg The login sets two cookies for *.<site-host>: prov and acct. The chat uses these cookies to check if you're logged in
@FelixSFD So fkey is not enough anymore?
https://chat.stackexchange.com <--- That's shared for Ask Ubuntu, Code Review, Code Golf, Superuser, Worldbuilding and a whole lot of other sites, isn't it?
@SimonForsberg fkey is not a cookie. It's just a hidden field in the login-form that is posted along with the login credentials
@FelixSFD Yes, I know it's not a cookie. That's the thing, do we need a cookie now? We've never needed a cookie before have we?
yes. But logging in on one of these site doesn't set the cookie for `chat.SE` :-/

I don't know, how other libs are doing this, but the current version of ChatExchange (Java) uses the cookies set by `https://openid.stackexchange.com/account/login/submit`
