@PrincessLuna thanks @PrincessLuna
mCurrentIndex = (mCurrentIndex+1) % mQuestionBank.length; what does this line exactly do?
@Ramona % is the remainder operation
example:
4 % 2 = 0
(because 2 goes exactly 2 times in 4. Though 8 % 2 == 0 too; the count doesn't matter, but it's the remainder from the division that matters)
ok.. but how to read this line of code?
It can be used to for a bunch of different things, but what your line does is check if the currentIndex + 1 can be divided by the length of the questions array without leaving a remainder
why does it do so?
Because that's what it's made for in Java
19:08
but i mean why this line checks this?
I don't know. Out of context it's very hard to explain why a specific line is there
will you be able to say more if i send you more code?
Probably
I don't really see how that's gonna work
hold on, let me just run some testing
yeah, it's overkill for one
you can shorten it down to int question = mQuestionBank [mCurrentIndex].getTextResId(); - there's no need for the percentage
19:33
hmm.. ok i will try this. interesting.
