Good Morning !

2 hours later…
06:21
anybody here?
Hi, @CrazyNinja!
@DamkerngT. Hey there! I see you after a log time
How are you?
:D
I'm good. How are you?
Today, i really need some help from you
I'm doing great !
What is it?
06:25
Today i decided to talk to my Project manager with regard my low salary and poor designation
I've received my confirmation letter on last week
Oh, no! And then?
it stated a designation which i was not expected ! (lower position)
Sorry to hear that!
I am going to talk to PM(project manager) now.
06:26
so, need some good meaningful sentences to you in the converstation
Hmm... maybe folks at Workplace SE are better at this kind of talk.
What is the polite way to ask for a meeting with the PM ?
is this ok? "Can i talk to you for a while?"
Can you tell me a bit about your PM?
actually, she is the head of all projects in our company
Can I talk to you for a while? could be okay, but it's a bit too direct as a request.
06:28
I had some days lunch with their lunch buddy team
so, knows little about me, but not too much familiar with me
http://chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/21589293#21589293

if so, what is the nice way?
There are many tactics, depending on the relationship between you and her.
If she's a caring person, a polite question should work.
can you build a polite question for me ? :D
But if she's a busy person, maybe you need something a bit assertive, but should still be polite.
yeah. kind of a busy. but i don't know whether she is really kind or not. I know that she is not so strict
Hmm... If she's not very strict, maybe Excuse me. Can I talk with you for a few minutes?
06:33
great!
That's is perfect
i'll try it out and see
A more assertive version would be something like: (Excuse me. I know you're very busy, but) I need to (or I have to) talk with you about my job.
nods
opps! i already sent the previous version
so, now waiting for a reply
Eh? Sent? I thought you were going to talk with her face to face.
yeah. but first i sent this through a chat system in our workplace
06:38
if the reply says, "yes. of course", i'll go to her room to talk with her
err.. another thing to know;
Do you have a clear idea about what you're going to talk with her?
if the conversation is going like in negative side, like if she said that she is not be able to increase my salary, how should i turn the conversation into the designation change ?
Yeah. basically, i'm planned to talk about my salary + designation
So there are two issues, right? One is the salary, the other is designation.
Okay, I think it's rather safe to assume that she knows that you're a non-native speaker.
And she's used to working with non-native speakers.
@DamkerngT. i'm begging you. please help me to make this conversation a successful one :D
with my English usage
Wait, does your job depend on your English skill?
06:42
she replied me, she is in an interview right now; she will let me know when she comes to her office
Not at all. Software Developer
I see.
But only few people are here who are fluent in english
so, how should i start out my conversation ? with salary r designation ?
Then I think she would understand if you said something like I'm sorry about my English. My English could be too direct at times. I hope you will understand.
And then you can get to the point and talk with her like you're talking with me.

13 hours later…
19:34
Who was missing me I know... @DamkerngT.
It's long time I spoke to you. :(
19:53
@hellodear It was a long time indeed!
