How is it that the quantum eraser experiment kills the interference pattern DESPITE not entangling with the environment?
i thought decoherence was necessary to kill quantum effects
but in this experiment, it's just one particle that acts as a measurement device, instead of the environment
or rather, it's just that this experiment's description claims that there was no entangling with the environment. but how do we know that to be true
the experiment did interact with the measuring particle. how did we make sure that it didnt interact with the environment in the process
it shud b impossible to make it interact with an outside particle while completely ruling out its interaction with the other outside stuff
