it's kind of a drastic edit, so i'd like a second pair of eyes.

@heather the question is spam (note that the link goes to a "publication" of the OP), so I don't think any edit is really going to bring it into shape.

In general, I'd say that kind of edit probably does make the question better though I'd probably refrain from doing it without the OP's approval... that's just me though

BTW regarding your ping which I just saw: personally (i.e. not speaking as a moderator) I would rather not have homework-and-exercises on the site at all. And I'm pretty sure I'm solidly on record as saying so whenever the possibility of abolishing the tag entirely has been brought up, though that has not happened often.

Nevertheless, there are (or, were?) plenty of other people who see considerable value in the tag

@Kaumudi.H I haven't sold much on ebay, but as I recall you pay a listing free when you list the item then you pay a percentage of the final price.

I don't know how well book sales work on ebay in India. In the UK I would probably just give them to charity.
