Does someone know of an intense Wordpress course I could attend, either online or at a venue that would take me from absolute beginner to advanced developer? I know there is no substitute for experience but I have some free time coming up and I would like to get as much information in as possible...
The easiest way would be to simply add:
global $query_string;
query_posts( $query_string . '&posts_per_page=-1' );
just before your code so you get :

Is there any reason my custom post type called 'training' wouldn't use the 'single-training.php' template file? It will only use the 'single.php' file.
@Rarst I have been, I'm not seeing anything anywhere. It should pick it up just by registering the post type as 'training' and calling the template file 'single-training.php' right?
@toscho Nope, same result. It will use the single.php template but not the custom one I created.. Are there no parameters for the register_post_type() function that would interfere with this?\
yeah, that's what i'm worried about - got a reasonable size project starting in a couple of weeks, and trying to work out if it makes sense to start it on 3.5beta or 3.4 and then upgrade as and when.
@toscho yeah he old and the new, keep old while new is being developed, like when you build a replacement house next dor then knock down your current house when it's finished
