@kaiser I managed to remove CW there, needed to use mod menu
@Rarst Hey, just found out and wanted to ask you if you've done it - then read this. Thanks a lot :)
first screenshots from linux mobile...
they should stop renaming damn things. it's not helping :)

:) Btw: Is still a valid tag? I saw some hundreds of Q tagged with it
what!?
craaaap
Don't panic. Didn't stumble upon it by accident. I need to think about some stuff and searched for some brain-dead task :)
14:32
@Rarst Not only 3.0 ... as well as for other versions. I cleaned up a little on 3.0 and 3.0.1 and deleted all for 3.3 - Guess who's responsible for the most amount of 3.3 tags: ScottB ... :P

Q: Should we extend version tags ban?

RarstWe had banned wordress-[version] tags, but had cautiously left possibility of [version] tags for cases where they are really required. I was not keeping an eye on those and it seems we just got a resurgence of meaningless version tags, mostly on questions that don't need them. I propose we get ...

Morning
Just killed all 3.2 as well. Left so far is 26x for 3.0 and some ~ 50 for 3.0.1
Btw: All unnecessary crap ...
Oh, and not to forget

The ability to create tags should be risen to 2.5k+ rep points

Any idea why I got a downvote for: wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/38390/11809 ?
16:16
@Asko No. But none of the answers care about dependecies
Interesting
17:12
I'm not much of a designer, but what do you guys think of this: i.minus.com/izJze7ln9xmKK.png
17:29
@Asko Gradients and rounded corners are soo 2009.
I agree to disagree.
So your saying that strict corners and blank colors that were pop in 1998' are now magically pop in 2012, too?
@Asko There is a difference between a technical restriction and self restriction.
There is also a difference between what is mainstream and what is preferred.
@Asko asko but I liked the answer. but it was too brief. I like answers with example code.
Hey, uhm, what answer?
17:37
Well I intended to answer your query about downvote. I don't think the downvote was well deserved
Oh that, well, I did add 2 lines of code for example.
If someone thought it was not good of an answer, maybe it wasn't.
@Asko well.. stackexachange gives the ability to downvote and some just randomly downvote.
@Asko thought it advises one to explaina downvote. I think it should force the downvoter to say somthing about his downvote
*though it
18:21
@viyyer I wasn't the downvoter, but as I said: If you enqueue scripts that have dependencies, then you should add them (see Codex). Therefore downvote was ok and should be removed on edit of the A.
18:51
I'm an idiot, so what exactly are dependencies?
$deps
(array) (optional) Array of handles of any script that this script depends on; scripts that must be loaded before this script. false if there are no dependencies.

You are an agent of change. Has anyone ever told you that? Well, I just did, and I meant it. Normally we stay away from from politics here at the official WordPress project — having users from all over the globe that span the political spectrum is evidence that we are doing our job and [...]

refunded the wiki and closed this wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/37998/… it's clearly unsalvageable

Darn, I came to this site to learn stuff and all I ended up doing is not having a clue what to ask.
:) answering stuff is on many occasions more educational
I had questions take me into the corners of code I never knew existed
Well, I only know the Codex stuff of WordPress so I should learn about .. whatever there is to learn besides Codex and I have nothing, nothing at all that would require anything more so I have no reason to even ask anything and this is a problem for me, well, it feels like a problem at least.
Maybe I should just take WordPress and scan every single file of it, like reading a book or so. Would that be weird?
Codex is shallow imitation of having docs :) my learning started of things I needed having started blog on WordPress... do you have a site actually running WP for something?
Yes and no at the same time. I have created around 200 or so websites in the past 5 years during my time in a web development agency with no problems, but creating something for myself is a problem - I can't get it perfect enough.
Design related problem, that is.
@Asko When looking at your site, my GPU drops into a bug and adds noise all over the viewport.
20:15
Sounds awesome
What is a GPU?
I kid, I just googled.
Noise was intentional by the way
well there is your problem. scrap the grand plans. get a theme (anything you find in an evening of searching). actually post something. :)
I'm a fan of Apple-ish design.
I don't like any of the themes out there
Give me a few years more, I'll get it up.
There's no rush, you know.
@Rarst That's exactly what I did. And after installing, I spend another day on replicating the templates. Css is still left, mark-up is crappy and I'm happily unsatisfied, ... but something's online :)
@Asko see - there is why you don't have questions. because you are not doing anything. :)
No, I do. I plan, create scraps, delete scraps, create scraps, delete scraps and plans and do it again. I like paradoxes, it seems.
Actually I get your point
20:23
@Asko :D
Looking at the WordPress.org's themes directory, one would think such a quality software would have quality themes. Guess not.
that is not doing. doing implies accomplishing. dabbling implies passing time. dabbling does not create sense of need for solutions that doing creates.
if you don't have personal quest - pick up generic one. no quality themes? make a theme that would kill. get in accepted into repository. you will be neck deep in question before even making it halfway.
21:15
hmm
Your a wise individual
21:40
Are the last three comments of this user spam?
Flagged it. Annoying.
21:57
@toscho The problem I see is the external resource. Once deleted or link changed, the answer is worthless as well.
Guess he doesn't know about nofollow on SE
