Q: Significance and implication of Mahout's death

HariharanAfter the Calcutta violence scene in Hey Ram, Saket Ram saw the mahout (elephant's caretaker) dead and that the elephant could not move. I think it was chained. Does this imply anything? Why did the director(Kamal Hassan) make those scenes?

Q: Identify an (possibly) Indian film involving a forest fire and a huge croc

yurneroI saw this film in the early 90's but I am estimating that it was probably a bit older (80's or 70's). The setting was oriental, mostly likely Indian. (It was dubbed into my native language.) Things I remember: A love story between a teenage boy and a teenage girl was an important plot thread. ...

Q: Slave girl (Arabian\Indian?) climbs into wicker basket, man stabs it and blood seeps from the bottom

CardeI saw this film prior to 1974. I remember it as being a big sweeping historical epic, possibly set in arabia. I think it was subtitled. The scene I remember clearly is a slave girl being asked to climb into a wicker basket, possibly to be part of a magic trick. A man runs the basket through w...

YatinI have 2 questions to ask. Considering the tough market in Bollywood distribution of movies. How come DDLJ crossed 1000 weeks. I feel there are many other love stories in Bollywood. Q: Bollywood Horror movie

PiPatrolI watched this movie when I was younger around 2005-2010. I generally dislike Bollywood movies(only seen a handful and dances and songs really grind my gears) but this one was actually quite decent. It was set over the course of one night only and it was set in a house. There was a girl in the ho...

Q: Are there Bollywood movies (esp. Sci-Fi) without singing and dancing?

coderworksAre there any Bollywood movies that do not have sing and dance sequences? I am not looking for a list of all such movies. If this question is considered too broad, a simple yes or no answer with a brief explanation as to why (e.g. Indian movie-making traditions, culture, etc) would be sufficient...

got it. Thanks.
@chaitanya89 i wanted to open it before but those days activity became so less and the user which used to come here regularly disappeared
Oh okay.
I was not surprised that you don't watch love movies primarily because based on the answers you've contributed to that site, I thought you were more into comics and sci-fi
@chaitanya89 not into comics and sci-fi only
Everything except war/army movies
Romatic and romance/relationship movies come last but they still come in list
oh, why not war movies? war movies are good especially if they are biographies.
I even don't know.
Even i can watch movie with lots of lots of blood but war movies looks all same to me
10:43
okay.
What about Indian movies , watched any recent one?
Few war movies are uplifting and few war movies are made only for dramatic purposes like this one "Fury".
I'm from AP. So, I watch Telugu movies often in theaters but recently heard great things about PK.
I have not seen it yet but having a good feeling about it 'cause Aamir Khan was in it.
Would you suggest me PK to watch on priority?
No
PK is over-hyped average film
@chaitanya89 I like ugly more, but need to finish it yet. Bit serious one
