@Dibstar Hi @Dibstar, that's awesome. Take a look at the resources I posted above for enderland and let us know if you have any questions.
Hey @bethlakshmi, tI have two questions for you. (1) Is there anything you need from me in terms of getting you setup as blog caretaker (other than of course the actual Wordpress in February)? (2) I was thinking you might coordinate with @Dibstar and @enderland in terms of what is being written and what articles to focus on in terms of posting or editing.
Also, I was thinking of putting on our Tello board "How I got two gold badges on the Workplace SE on my first day", in response to this user:
Would it be in bad taste to do an article on this topic or something along the lines of what made this question such a hit?

I'm the owner of a business with about 30-40 employees. Recently, I found out that one of my employees has been having an affair with my wife. The employee has worked for me for 4 years. I felt like I was his mentor, since I recruited straight from university, taught him the ropes, and promoted h...

@jmort253 I like the idea of highlighting that question, but I would say the comments discussion around closing and opening it would be more worthwhile, as the reason it was a hit was off-topic (whilst the question core was, I believe, on-topic) and that might be considered a little insensitive given the subject matter

@Dibstar your reasoning makes perfect sense to me (I think you'd be an invaluable contributor to blog team). On thing you didn't address though is this shift would make a potential "hit" into less er publicity-friendly article (which however may potentially have a solid positive longer term impact)...

@gnat - I think that is part of a wider discussion into whether or not sensationalising questions for views / publicity is necessary. Personally I think it demeans the value of contributions across the site, and yet I see from the area 51 stats we're not doing the volumes of traffic I would expect (and hope for). I would hope that by drawing attention to this question for the right reasons we would get people to come back.

@Dibstar I think I understand. There seem to be a tricky matter of finding the right balance. Blog article how divorce made me a Stak Exchange star could gather a lot of views but that'd be ethically questionable and could lead to inorganic growth (like it was to Programmers in times of NPR). On the other hand...
...an article focused strictly on technical aspects of edits done to the questions would probably have too narrow an audience and wouldn't help in site growth at all. How to make it worth re-reading for those interested about dealing with questions like that? How to make it spark an interest of a visitor who'd be a valuable contributor?...

@enderland Good point. Questions like that tend to create a lot of work for everyone, and in the end we really aren't 100% sure the work leads to the results we want. :)
