Don't you think Orochimaru's end was kind of... sad? I think he's going to come back in a way in the future. I won't tell why I think so, unless you really want to know.
We really need to agree on this one early on. What do we do with questions who by nature are spoilers? I mean, not part of the question, but the entire question.
For instance, asking about a character who's identity is only revealed later in the manga (but not the anime). Even the question's tit...
I'm a pro tempore mod on 3 sites for example. I wasn't elected. Some people were nominated, others self-nominated, and then the Team chooses three among them.
This is the very first private beta I participate in. From what I understand, it takes about (sometimes more) a week for it to be a public beta.
When are moderators for it elected? During public beta? After it airs as an ordinary site?
Well we've been around more than a week and are now open to the public. Stack Exchange likes to appoint pro-tem moderators at about the two week mark so it's high time to nominate some contributors for those positions.
Please nominate one user per answer so that we can vote up/down each person i...
This answer contains lots of spoilers so I might as well make one block, edit if you will
! When Madara rescued Obito from the collapsed cave he used Hashirama Senju's living clone to heal Obito's crushed body. Not only did this heal Obito's body but it also gave him access to Hashirama Senju...

Considering the topic of our site, I think it's important that we discuss the issue of spoilers early so it doesn't become an issue later. With that in mind, things we need to address:
When should spoilers be permitted in titles?
When should we require users to include spoiler markdown in the q...
I see I see, so rule of thumb is to make it still searchanle and findable, some kind of middle ground for people who want spoilers anyway and people who dont
@Krazer Ew... But I don't think that's relevant. What gives you the Mangekyou is the fact that you did a terrible thing like killing your best friend. Or at least, this is what I got from the story. And what Itachi says, if I remember correctly.
@Krazer this may mean that he only (somehow) absorbed the technique?
@Alenanno I think you don't realize everything that is going on here. This is regarding something far ahead in the manga. maybe spoiler for you? Or maybe you know it
Also should there be a grace period for spoilers? When can a spoiler not be considered a spoiler any more... because it's so old... E.g., Snape kills Dumbledore, Darth Vader is Luke's father.
Spoilers should be kept out of titles... if you're browsing around Q&A fansites reading things on a series you haven't finished, you deserve what you get
@Krazer I don't think that should be like that. you should always consider it spoiler, because someone may just be getting started in that particular show
@Krazer Had I not seen Star Wars already, you'd be spoiling me just now
The question body can take the form: In episode XYZ of anime ABC: <spoilertag> Why did main character kill other main character? </spoilertag>... the title should be kept spoiler-free if at all possible (which will force some titles to be remarkably non-descriptive)
@Krazer suppose I just started naruto and find out about this site. I come here and suddenly I know a ton of things only meant to be known 500 episodes later... I don't think that is right
Guys, it really depends on the wording. You can state something and hide it in the wording so even if I read it, I don't get it. But if someone knows it and reads it, they'll get it. And anyways, you can always ask for suggestions. :P
I think we need a tag for questions about differences between anime/manga versions and even TV series/movie versions. That way it's easy to sort all of these questions without attempting to search for them. And it would be easier to implement this now rather than once we have even more questions....
@Alenanno sometimes the anime version of a manga is significantly different, so people want to know what's different without reading/watching both. and the same can happen if there is a movie version and a TV version of a story.
@grasshopper when I looked up the manga tag it said you should only use it for questions specific to the manga version...
@atlantiza a "variations" tag may be applied to discuss differences between a series, i.e FMA and FMA:Brotherhood as in "full-metal-alchemist" "variations"
