Logan MAll lists are alphabetized, for lack of a better method. If you have a better suggestion just go for it. For the moment, due to the size of this answer, the only things included for each entry are whether they list characters, people, and music from the series. If you want to add this, please do ...

for example, just now i found out that Anime-Planet doesn't include Hentai in its database, while AniList does, but AniList won't include some "non-Japanese" anime or doujin work not produced by a professional studio while Anime-Planet is more lax in these areas.
I imagine it'd be immensely useful to the new generation of anime lovers who're about to sign up for one of these sites and need to make informed decisions.
Also, import and export format supported and API information are useful as well.
I'd like some input, and if this should be made a new answer or a big edit to the existing answer.
